Privacy, uncut.
The Architect watches everything in Neon City. This website doesn't. Here's exactly what happens when you visit.
The short version: no accounts, no forms, no ads, no analytics, no tracking cookies. Two tiny settings are saved in your own browser, and our web host keeps standard server logs. That's it.
Who runs this site
slicerGame.com is run by i6 Developments, the studio making SLICER. Questions about this page or your data: privacy@slicergame.com.
What the server sees
Like every website, ours is delivered by a web host (IONOS SE). When your browser asks for a page, the host's servers record the request: your IP address, the time, the page or file, the referring page, and your browser's user agent. These logs exist to keep the site running and secure, are kept only for the short period the host's security setup requires, and are never sold, shared for marketing or used to build a profile of you. Under the GDPR the basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure website.
What's saved in your browser
Two small entries, stored on your device by your browser. They are never sent to us or to anyone else, and you can clear them any time by clearing this site's data.
slicer-seen(session storage): skips the CRT power-on intro if you reload during the same visit. It's gone when you close the tab.slicer-sound(local storage): remembers whether you turned the soundtrack on, so it can resume on your next click. It's only written when you press the score button.
We don't set cookies. The fonts, images and music all come from our own server, so loading the page contacts no third party.
The trailer
The trailer is a picture until you press play. Only then does your browser load YouTube's player, from youtube-nocookie.com, Google's privacy-enhanced mode. From that moment Google receives the data it needs to play the video, under Google's Privacy Policy. If you never press play, YouTube is never contacted.
Links to other places
Links to Steam, Discord, YouTube and other stores or platforms take you to sites with their own privacy policies. We don't control what they collect.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the EU and UK GDPR, or California's CCPA), you can ask what data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, object to its use, and complain to your local data protection authority. Since this site collects almost nothing, there is usually nothing to hand over. Server logs can't be matched to a person without information we don't have. Write to privacy@slicergame.com and we'll answer within a month.
Kids
This site doesn't knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13 (or 16 in some countries).
The game itself
This page covers the website. SLICER and the stores it's sold through have their own privacy terms, published on each store page.
Changes
If what the site does changes, this page changes first, with a new date at the top.
